Virginia-based author Elvi is a writer and author of the novel Chronically a Vampire, and has a few other novels out as well. She is currently finishing her bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, with a focus in fiction, at Southern New Hampshire University and plans to continue her education to get her masters in Folklore and Mythology. She lives in Virginia Beach and loves to spend her time by the ocean with her two children and her husband. Prior to writing, Elvi was a dog trainer, and an herbalist, owning her own online apothecary. Since then, she has been a stay-at-home mother to her twins and has written blog posts about what life is like as a parent to twins who were born at 24 weeks and all of the medical problems that come along with that and has written about her own struggles with mental health and living with multiple chronic illnesses. “Reading let me escape to new worlds when things were rough, and writing gave me the outlet to escape to my own new worlds.”
