An Army brat born in Germany, L. Meredith McMullan spent most of her childhood bouncing back and forth from Bavaria to Oklahoma, where she experienced an adventurous life balanced between medieval castles and crawdad fishing. She currently resides in the lush, green mountains of the Virginia Highlands with her three children and their menagerie.
