It’s 1983, and a new boardgame, Hoodwink’s Folly, has captured the imagination of children all around the UK.
In the game, Dr Hoodwink’s Folly sits atop a mountain in the middle of a dark corrupted land. The instructions ask… “Can you beat your opponents to his lair before the Doctor’s mind-control rays render you immobile?”
But for some players there’s more to this game than meets the eye, as young Andrew Elmstone learns, with shocking consequences.
