All they wanted was to make a little off the books money on their day off.

Saltair is a member of an ancient alien race known only as ‘The Others.’ Krenik is a pint sized engineer who has a penchant for scrap metal and salvaged parts. Together, they make a very odd but effective partnership for hire.

When Saltair and Krenik decide they need to start collecting more resources than the wider galaxy can now provide, they decide to head to the one place that nobody goes.

The Sol System.

In 2151, Earth was destroyed by a group of renegades known only as ‘The Decimators’. Since then, multiple planets have died and crumbled, and gravimetric disturbances are off the scale. However, the area is rich in minerals. Enough to make the pair take early retirement.

There’s only one problem.

They’re not the first ones there.

Follow the characters first introduced in David W. Adams’ novella Resurrection : Aftermath in the first of a new series of stand-alone tales and adventures following Saltair & Krenik as they bumble from one business deal gone wrong to another in an ever more dwindling and ever more dangerous galaxy.
