“This book!! Nate and Violet are everythingggg! From the very first chapter I knew we were in for a ride with these two and boy was I right. Violet is so relatable and sassy, Nate is funny and hot and just exudes dominance and the two together made for such an amazing combo. There were twists and turns I didn’t even expect! The sexual tension was so freaking hot and just when you think everything is going to fall a certain way something else happens. And it was amazing. And i loved it!! I loved getting to know more of their friends, expanding the cast and already see the brewing of books 3 and maybe 4! The people of Styre Cove have my heart but Nate… he just might be my favorite now. Tess has a wonderful trigger warning at the beginning so please check those. Also if you haven’t read book 1, i highly recommend you do so. The way the two stories intertwined together was purely a masterpiece and I give so many kudos to Tess for managing that!”
They got this, until they don’t.

Nate
You can’t use your real name.
You can’t go looking for them on the outside.
You can’t have sex.
These are the rules that must be obeyed. The rules I have known and adhered to for six long years—until her. We crossed the line that night, not thinking twice about rule three. It was an experience that was real, raw, and unforgettable. Then she faded into the shadows, leaving me desperate and alone. I need to find her and make her mine again. Even if I need to break all the other rules to do it.

Violet
Lunch with my brother was supposed to be normal, easy. Something I have been chasing since leaving Seattle behind. But nothing is normal for the Lawsons. When my brother’s best friend arrives, his tall, dark features are oddly familiar. Before I can place him, I can sense the electricity in the air around us. Then it clicks. It’s him. It’s been him all along.
