Until Next Year

“The story rang so true because relationships are tedious, full of angst, riddled with mistakes, and just so much waiting… So instead of the book taking 1000 pages to take us through the many ups and downs and twists and turns, we get to experience how long it can take for two people to be honest with themselves and each other by having a year pass between chapters. Plus, I love it when authors take side characters from their novels and give them the main stage so we can learn about their story. This is exactly what Michelle Angelle did — Gloria is a character from Dear Pink. Not only is Gloria’s story interesting enough for her own novel, but the authors tell the story and a unique way— we get to peek in on Gloria and Jacob once a year! Michelle Angelle did such a great job of helping me see the growth of these two characters in subtle ways and with smart dialogue. As always, these authors know how to create side characters that are fun and interesting and more than just plot devices! This book was a delight to read and felt so real, which can be pretty tricky when the romantic lead is a famous popstar;) I highly recommend this love story, with humor, struggles, and powerful friendships!”
