Carol R Jacobson is a retired college English professor with 41 years of teaching experience. After decades of helping students write well and appreciate quality literature, she relishes time to immerse her expertise into her own story. She brings a technical eye to the writing table with her relentless attention-to-detail.
While earning her MA in English from the University of North Dakota in the 80’s, she met and married Kevin, an Air Force officer and a gentleman. They have 3 married children who have blessed them with 11 grandchildren. Their oldest child, daughter Kirsten Solberg, is her writing partner in The Palimar Saga.
Since Carol grew up in northern Minnesota, she loves small towns, seasonal changes, and family traditions. After raising their children in Minnesota, she and her husband reside in south Florida near the Atlantic Ocean. Carol loves flower gardening, recipe experimenting, kombucha brewing, in-Christ walking, and grandchildren spoiling.
