Peta Hawker’s love of books and storytelling led her to study a Bachelor of Writing and Publishing at the Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE (now Melbourne Polytechnic). She currently works in a knowledge management team training authors and editing technical content.
Originally hailing from the southern parts of Australia, Peta now resides in rural Queensland with her family, two cats, and a few chickens. A large part of her childhood was spent travelling the outback, and the diversity of the land generated a passion for living closer to nature. The incredible landscapes of Australia still inspire her work today.
