SJ Blasko (they/them) is no stranger to mental health struggles, and much of their work revolves around adolescent experiences with undiagnosed anxiety, depression, and severe PMDD, as well as chronic Lyme disease. March of 2023 marked 4 years since they first went on anti-depressants, and those (together with the support of their friends) are helping them rediscover the bits of themself they lost to the darkness. They self-published their first book of poetry, Midnight Comes, in theur senior year of high school, and their most recent collection, Love & Bees is available for purchase now.
