What happens in Vegas, doesn’t always stay there.

Maggie Bartley was known as the quiet and reserved one of her friend group. The first one to step up when anyone needed her. That alone should’ve given her enough good karma to coast through life. But in reality, she wasn’t sure how much worse life could get. After her mom walked out the door and her father suffered a couple of health scares, she was left to try to keep the family business and her life afloat while drowning in a sea of medical bills. She’d gladly struggle the rest of her life as long as her dad was still alive and well. However, his well-being has planted a fear in her to not stray far from home. Being forced to go to a friend’s wedding in Vegas was supposed to be for her to unwind and relax – but it turned into anything but when the blond stranger that kept her company on the trip shows up when she’s back home – with her wedding band.

Even with his wealthy eligible bachelor status, he wanted nothing more than to stay out of the public eye and lead a quiet, normal life. The main focus of his future revolved around the family business that he’d soon be taking over when his parents retired. All that changes the moment his father throws in a stipulation – Jake finds a bride to prove his stability or it will all be handed over to his ruthless half-sister. Thankfully, he’s got endless money and a trip to Vegas for his friend’s wedding on the horizon. He should have no problem finding a willing participant to marry him until he can secure his spot in the family. But plans change the moment he lays eyes on the sassy redhead who he can’t get out of his mind.
