Book of Whispers, The

In a world where the Gods have either been banished or abandoned humanity altogether, the inhabitants of each of the realms have been left to their own devices.  Humans now survive by code of deceit and exploitation, and the creatures of myth and legend have retreated deep into the wilderness, seeking to live out their lives in peace.  Thoughts of redemption have all but disappeared, now replaced by prophecies of the end of existence itself…With the exception of one tale now long forgotten.

In this series debut of a fantasy adventure for all ages, a young nymph finds herself trying to decipher a set of runes that hold the key to unlocking the book she carries…Along with the knowledge kept within it.  The task she has been asked to fulfill takes her on a trek north, and she quickly finds herself immersed in the world of Viking folklore.

When Natasha is asked to take a locked book to a seer who lives deep in a swamp, she’s not thrilled—But she can tell by her grandmother’s urgency that there is danger on the horizon.

With her best friend in tow, she heads off into the unknown; all the while enlisting the help of creatures that until now, she only knew from legends.

As she begins to discover the meaning of the script etched into the cover of the book, she realizes that she has been caught in the sights of a God’s quest for vengeance, and that those who are pursuing her have no intention of offering mercy.  Frightened and on the run, Natasha wants nothing more than to return the book to the one person who can open it…The one they call the Keeper.
