Darkness

“I knew from the opening chapter that Darkness was going to be a good read. I had high expectations having previously read the Awakenings which is the first book in the series. Urban fantasy is one of my favourite genres but even with all the books to choose from finding a good one is still hit a miss. For me Darkness ticked all the right boxes. Good plot, great characters and a nice mix of intrigue and romantic tension. The main characters are drawn from Greek myth, either Gods or minor deities and whilst hardly new to Urban Fantasy readers they still come over as fresh and original which in part is down to the dialogue between them. Like Awakenings the reader is left with a cliff hanger ending and I for one can’t wait to read the next installment!”
