Being a responsible adult isn’t for everyone

Dotty Peters is a typical millennial. She has no idea what she is doing 90% of the time. Officially on the wrong side of her twenties, Dotty is nowhere near where she thought she would be.

Career – Non-existent

Married – Would be a miracle

Children – See above

Financially secure – Ha

After making a questionable decision involving her boyfriend’s brother, Dotty ran away from her comfortable village life. Starting over in Glasgow, she met Dani, her slightly crazy, brassy and lovable roommate.

It’s been two years since Dotty was last home, and now she finds out her little sister is getting married. With a last-minute invite, all is clearly not forgiven. But it’s her sister, so she drags Dani along for backup to face her mistakes and, most importantly, her mother.

Between the fights, karaoke, old crushes and falling into rivers, Dotty soon finds herself in new romantic entanglements. She only needs to make better choices this time. Easier said than done.
