Laura has always had it easy, she excelled in sports and school, her parents were loving and happily married and her entire family was tight knit and supportive. She’s lived in a small New England town her whole life and had big plans to move to NYC for college. When she falls in love with her second high school boyfriend, life suddenly takes a darker turn than she ever could have imagined..

Nick is older, aggressive, stubborn, arrogant and manipulative. He’s also been neglected his entire life and pursued Laura as the only girl that he wanted. Laura can’t shake the weird feeling he gives her, but gives him a chance anyway. Laura finds herself lying to everyone she loves, and everyone that’s ever made her feel loved, just to stay in this relationship until one day, it gets to be too much.

After Nick puts Laura in the hospital, she grows up, and never looks back. She finds the love of her life, a kind spirit, her protector and he helps her live her dream. But nightmares have a way of creeping back in, and Laura realizes that her dream life may just be that.
