I think this is due to the author’s ability to keep the writing crisp and focused on the three principal characters, Rosa, Nanny , and George. Rosa’s emergence outdoors and her introduction to the natural world is beautifully described. This novel deserves a sequel to follow through on the new life ahead for Rosa and Nanny.”
