“First, I love the cover art! It’s clearly original and not A.I. Generated which reflects the love this author has for her book. The illustrator did a great job of capturing the essence of the story. The novel itself was well thought out and remarkably attention grabbing. I am a fan of authors who create entire new worlds for their story setting. N.A. Walker blended her characters into this unique environment masterfully. Her ideas on planetary colonization are well thought out and, in my opinion, spot on. She also had a very well balanced character cast with great interaction.”

Swiss Family Robinson meets Avatar!

Pirrul and Eiric and their friends have graduated from school in the human colony on the planet Imagine, but they are bored with the menial jobs they have been assigned. They jump at the chance to do some exploring in the mountains and woods nearby. The colony is in need of resources, but everyone who was alive when the planet was first colonized has a pathological fear of the mountains. The teens, born after Landing, are sent to prospect for iron and copper and building materials. What starts out as a holiday becomes more of a struggle as they encounter the challenges of camping and of meeting alien creatures. And, being teens, romance blossoms. They discover how to mine and smelt iron, how to build with the materials around them. They want to build a life for themselves in the mountains, but will they overcome the lust for power and the threat of violence and hold on to their peaceful ambitions?
