“Everything from the world building, to the characters, down to the tiny details like dragon wing cupcakes was just so perfectly crafted. The world created in this book is one I would sell my soul to visit. I mean we have dragon shifters who live in cute villas and a character who owns a bakery/bookstore that I would probably live at. That brings me to these characters. God do I love these characters. They were all just so sweet and the kind of people you just need to have as your friends. The relationship dynamics, both romantic and platonic, just warm my heart because it’s abundantly clear throughout the book that they would do anything for each other. The romance was sweet, the smut was spicy, and the action was stressful but I wouldn’t change a thing.”

A Princess in exile…

Sabil learned early to never rely on anyone but herself. As a Fae Archon’s daughter, she is supposed to one day rule her court – not be sent into exile at the first sign of unrest.

Especially not to Bergaera and into the care of the Dragon Lord, an Archon feared by the rest of the continent and for good reason.

Sheltered, but headstrong and determined to be useful, Sabil quickly finds herself in a series of firsts: the first time that she truly is out of her depth in the face of looming war. Her first true friend. The first stirring of the devastating magic inside of her.

And the first realisation that nothing is as it seems.

A sweet smile hiding a dark past…

Lenne fled her home decades ago to escape the political snares her family are tangled in. Opening a bookish tearoom in Bergaera’s capital city should have set her up for a life of peace and quiet.

But just as her budding romance with Bergaera’s famed General blossoms into something deeper, Sabil’s arrival in town and the consequences that follow upend Lenne’s quiet life.

She is forced her to face her past one last time, as something ancient and dark reaches its claws for all of them.
