The After is a book 1 of The Afterverse series. A space opera/space fantasy with just a sprinkle of spice in book one. It is a splendid book for either individuals new to SciFi or the Space Opera genre or the seasoned SciFi lover. Mike Conley writes The Afterverse purposefully to be easy to read and to offer the reader plenty of opportunities to laugh.
If you like things like any The Mandalorian, The Expanse, Farscape, Firefly, or Renegade Star, you will probably enjoy this book.
