Vergara is not an assassin, but she is one of eleven children and thus is uniquely qualified to write a story revolving around the complexities of sibling relationships. When not writing stories about realistically irrational and chaotic characters she can be found either working her day job in the hospital or on the ambulance, or out in the woods, camping, hiking, foraging for food, field-herping, riding her mule, or playing her banjo.
