Karlene is originally from Snohomish, Washington. They now live in Tucson, Arizona with their partner, three kids, three dogs and three ferrets. Oddly enough, they hate the number three. They are an AuDHD gremlin, a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and prefers they/them pronouns, but is okay with she/her as well. When they are not homeschooling their children or writing their books, Karlene enjoys singing karaoke, hiking, and traveling to any corner of the world they haven’t explored before.
