Rose Carmel was born in Haiti and moved to New York City when she was ten years old. Rose Carmel grew up listening to her great- grand mother and her father’s incredible stories of magical beings. She would later make up her own stories which she used to entertain her siblings.
Rose Carmel completed her Bachelor’s degree from Queens College of the City University of New York. She would later on earn her Masters Degree. However, story telling was always her path. After the death of her mother, she decided to pursue her dream of being a published author.
Rose Carmel, “Rosie” to those loves, believes in the impossible, the unlikely and magic. Above all she believes in the grace that can be found deeply in the human heart.
