Something strange is going on at Dohr’s Manor, the place where people afflicted with the dreaded sickness are cared for. The money from the king has stopped coming and nothing works as it should.
Dokaius, Antonius and Junia, the three siblings who look after the Committed of the Manor, decide that two of them need to head for the capital to try to find an explanation. But strange things begin to happen as soon as they leave, and the answers they find are not what they expected.
