The London Met Police are used to cracking cases caught on camera. But when the footage reveals absolutely nothing, it’s time to call in the quirky and unconventional Louise Sargant. The Met’s version of the X-Files.
Louise’s second outing is a wild comedic ride as she juggles the UK’s most dangerous mobster and a time-controlling demon. The mobster may look like a harmless grandfather, but don’t let him fool you—this guy means business. And the demon? Well, she’s the spitting image of Charlene from Neighbours, but with a sassy, Buffy-like attitude, and a casual disregard for human life. It’s tough to be a serial killer when you do it in parallel.
As if that’s not enough, Louise finds herself caught in the amorous attention of the mob boss’s millionaire playboy son. An unwanted tangled web of danger and romance. With the lethal intentions of the mob boss, which will leave her hanging around a warehouse, Louise knows she’ll have to bend the rules to crack this deadly case.
